The Cyprus Payroll Management Association (CPMA) informs you about the announcement of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance regarding the operation of the Contact Center 1450 for the Social Insurance Services, the Ministry of Labor and the Welfare Benefits Administration Service of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare.

In particular, the communication states that:

As of March 8, 2023, through the Pancyprian number 1450, the Communication Center for the Social Insurance Services of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance and the Welfare Benefits Administration Service of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare is put into operation, upon completion of staff training.

It is noted that, in order to regulate its smooth operation and ensure the best service to the public, the Center will operate on a trial basis for a period of two (2) months, for the purpose of familiarizing and adapting both the public and the competent officers.

The Contact Centre will be open from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The service operates free of charge for calls within Cyprus, while, for calls from abroad, citizens will be able to communicate through the chargeable service of the 22008020 number.

The Communication Center, which will act as a single point of information and service for the above services, was developed in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology Services of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, while it is an important step in the process of modernizing and optimizing the service provided by the state to citizens and businesses.
