Το Τμήμα Εφόρου Εταιρειών και Διανοητικής Ιδιοκτησίας, με σκοπό τη βέλτιστη επικαιροποίηση του Μητρώου Πραγματικών Δικαιούχων στη βάση της αναβαθμισμένης ψηφιακής πλατφόρμας, ανακοινώνει την παράταση της υποβολής στοιχείων των Πραγματικών Δικαιούχων για όλες τις περιπτώσεις Εταιρειών και άλλων νομικών οντοτήτων μέχρι και τις 31 Μαρτίου 2024. Μετά τη συγκεκριμένη ημερομηνία, στις μη συμμορφούμενες Εταιρείες και άλλες νομικές οντότητες θα επιβάλλεται χρηματική επιβάρυνση στη βάση του Νόμου 188(Ι)/2007 περί της Παρεμπόδισης και Καταπολέμησης της Νομιμοποίησης Εσόδων από Παράνομες Δραστηριότητες, ο οποίος ψηφίστηκε από τη Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων και τέθηκε σε εφαρμογή στις 23/2/2021.

Extension of data submission to the Register of Beneficial Beneficiaries until March 31, 2024

The Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, with the aim to better facilitate the updating of the Register of Ultimate Beneficiaries on the basis of the upgraded digital platform, announces the extension of the submission of details of the Ultimate Beneficiaries for all cases of Companies and other legal entities until March 31, 2024. After that specified date, non-compliant Companies and other legal entities will be subject to the monetary fines as per the Law 188(I)/2007 on the Prevention and Combating of Money Laundering from Illegal Activities, which was passed by the House of Representatives and came into force on 2/23/2021.

Neoklis is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and holds a Master’s in Finance and Investments from the University of Exeter. He is an active member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). Additionally, Neoklis is an honorary member of the Cyprus Payroll Association, an approved mediator, and an educational trainer.
